Hi SR Frieds!
I noticed only now that there is possibility to join this forum for English speakers too. IT IS GREAT! _clap_1.gif
I have usually read different topics of this homepage in English via Googletranslate since years which worked moderately well till now.
But now it is over!
I am Hungarian and I purchased my first SR2E in 1963. She was sold 2 years later, because I needed a bigger motobike.
Since I had many motobikes, but I decided to purcase an SR2 again in 2004.
So I bought one that time, and an other one in 2006.
The first one (which I purchased in 2004) is my "working horse" and the second one is not finished with the restoration yet. Her engine is in my working horse currently for testing.
At the same time luckily I succeeded to purchase several brand new gearbox and coupling gearwheel parts partly in Hungary, partly from Germany. Now they go in my working horse!!! biggrin.gif I need those parts because I use her from spring to autumn almost every day and I want to get a very smooth working style from her!
The second SR2E will be my nice moped, which will look like a brand new one, and will be the copy of my very first one from 1963. That was an exhibited moped on the Budapest Industrial Fair in 1963.
This is for now.
Happy milage to every SR friens! smile.gif
(144 is me in Kürbitz)

Servus Zoli
You probably made a small mistake; if you want to introduce yourself you should open a new topic of you own.
There are many users who can replay to you in English but mostly you should respect the moderator.
I do have simpatico to your country because my grandfather was born in Budapest.

Hi Ori.
Thanks for your kind words (even in Hungarian!), yes I probably can't use this site properly because of my lack of Greman knowledge. I think I must write in English within this topic as an English speaker.
But probably I must use the "Neues Thema" button instead of the "Antwort" one?
Am I right?
Anyway I can only congratulate to you for your SR1!
Honestly I am an SR2E fan because I use her almost every day and this latest type provides more comfort than the early SR1.
But all my appreciation is yours!

Hello Zoli
At list I can give you a tip, go to "my control" (Your Account Options) in the preference control change language for the board interface to English.

Ori

Liebe deutsche User,

Hello Zoli,

thank you for joining this wonderful forum. It's nice to see people from other european countries here!

The "Neues Thema" creates a new topic, "Antwort" means to give an answer inside of the current thread.

The SR2E is a perfect choice in my opinion, too. I have one, too, and it rides soo smoth, its just wonderful.

You are welcome,

Kind regards, Andreas

Hi Ori, Wolfgang, Eric, Gunnar, Andreas, Thomas, and not as last Norbert.

I was only 1 day away from my PC and it is incredible, that how many responses and greetings I have now.
Thank you for that to all of you!

First of all I received this topic "Some questions" from Konstantin (apfelbaum) who helped me in creating this "thread" because I do not speak German and I was lost on this website. Thank you for him again.
Although I have no specific techical question to you currently, but I only wanted to chat with SR friends whereever you live in the Globe.
I think this aim is fulfilled.

Yes, I was in Kürbitz in 2006 and 2007 too. First time I arrived there on axels, and I went there by car in 2007 and the moped was in the car.
Honestly by this later occasion I also started by the SR2E, but when I filled up my tank in Slovakia (I wanted to ride via Warsaw - Berlin- to Kürbitz) somebody put something wrong in my petrol while I was inside to to pay. Not so later (in 10 km) my engine has jamed. Therefore I had to return to Hungary (by car) and after a quick engine repaire (crankshaft change) I succeeded to get to the meeting by car.

Yes Norbert, I remember to your big trailer carrying 30 (or 40?) mopeds in one bulk! biggrin.gif That was funny, and I have the DVD of the event too.
Since than we had an SR meeting in Hungary too in 2008, where altogether 8 mopeds and 20 people gethered together at the Lake Velence. We also have a Hungarian website: http://srbaratok.gportal.hu/ where we can chat and change ideas.

I very much trust that I can participate the Kürbitz meeting again in 2010.
Certainly on axels, but I intend to screw it a bit by this occasion.
This is for now and best regards to all of you.

Zoli.

Hi Gunnar.

You wrote: "Szép, hogy van-e "
This is in English word by word? "Nice, that if it is?"
What do you mean?
