Problem with kickstarter

Hi there, I have problem with starting my RT 125/2. The kickstarter seems to be sliding on the gear.

-the gear was changed to new one
-the spring and ring was changed to new one

I have no idea what could go wrong

Hello. the kickstarter wheel does not engage with the riveted window wheel on the clutch basket. did you use original parts?

Hi, I had to use substitutes, but of similar size and new. The wheel with 30 teeth is really hard to get. It seems as if the wheel was blocked on the 'Kickstarterwelle', and did not push to the basket.

the kickstarter wheel should slide easily on the clutch basket. I think there is even a bushing on the basket that the sprocket rides on. take a close look at the riveted counterpart in terms of wear and tear. Then compare the old sprocket with the new one. that's exactly what it will be about. The new sprocket will not engage the windows because the teeth are the wrong angle or length. It is also important with this kickstarter system to put your foot on the kickstarter, step down until it snaps into place, then step on without taking the pressure off the kickstarter again.

Thanks for the reply. I will just order a new wheel and the riveted part on the basket.
Funny thing is that it usually starts at first (all works ok when it's cold), and then after a short brake i'm unable to do a restart again because of the wheel not going into the holes on the baket, just like in the movie. But I don't think that the temperature should have something to do with this issue.

I know, it has already been replaced to new one. But I have problem with finding the wheel with 30 teeth. The 'motorradmeistermilz' store has only ones with 27 teeth :/ Do you know which motorcycles also used such wheel? Or maybe you know any store that has such wheels

One more question, do you think it would be possible to moidfy the mechanism and replace the parts with the ones from MZ 150? ie. "kickstarterrad + segment fur kickstarter + Mitnehmer", and maybe the "Kickstarterwelle" if needed?

It's not the same. It has 30 teeth but only 6 teeth (Klauen) on top (should have 10).
Also the "Durchmesser" is 65mm instead of 61,7mm

Unless you already tried this one and it works.
