What to do with the cables?

Hi all! I was trying to find this thema on the forum but found nothing (all is in german ), so sorry if it's doubled.

Anyhow, I will be putting new cables in my 125/2 and I see that there are holes in the rear fender (see the image). Do you have any idea how it was mounted originally? Were there any dedicated screws or something?

In this holes must be sheetstripes, this hold the cable.

But now I see that the white line on my fender goes over the holes, and it will be hidden under the cables

In this case I would mount the cable on the inner side of the the fender, so the white line is only hidden in the clip position

But this is original. The cable would not be protected under the fender.
Your fender is incorrectly lined.
