Few parts needed in USA

I need a few things for my 57 SR2. A aviation and motorcycle museum here has agreed to put it on display but I need a few things before I can give it to them. I have original tires which I want to leave on but the tubes do not hold air. We do not have the correct size available in the US. I also need a pair of original handlebar grips and a throttle cable. If anyone has all of these and is willing to ship to US please let me know.

Sorry, I cannot offer you the parts you need, but I must say
1) wonderful restored SR 2
2) please turn the cylinder head 180 degrees which was the original position!

Old tubes can be made airtight again by filling in some old milk(no joke!) or sealer spray .

Thanks for pointing out the cylinder head issue. I had it off a while ago to inspect the cylinder and I obviously put it back on wrong.

i could send you a pair of tubes in the right dimension.

That´s a surprise for me - an SR2 in the USA.
Do you have the possibility to give the tool box some pinstripes, too? It looks so empty.
If I see right you need the plastic glass of the rear light, too.

it seems that Simson delivers to the USA as well. I´ve got an old sale sheet from an US american concern called "Continental Motorcycle & Scooter Corp." which offered at that time:

* Simson KR50 , for the price of $ 285
* Simson SR2, for the price of $ 229
* MZ 125/2, for the price of $ 375

and other 2- or 3-wheeler from another europeen manufacturer like the Peugeot scooter or Peugeot threeweheeler motorcycle shown in the same brochure beside the Simson scooters and the MZ motorcycle.

i am in the US in dezember (Indianapolis/IN). If i get all these 3 parts from somebody, i can take it to the US and send it to u by UPS or ... 3 small parts should be no problem.

Thank you for all the offers to help. I will send messages to some of you to get more details. I do not know the history of the moped or how it arrived in the US. When it gets to the museum I will for sure post some pictures. Here are a few more for now. I originally planned to sell the moped but I have since fallen in love with it. Rather than keep it hidden in my garage I decided to let the museum show it so other people can enjoy.
