Ori, buy the SR1 in "good condition". I have here a nice guy (mario from Dresden), he change an israelian SR1 with a original SR2 ( You want have someone, I knew ). The shipping costs (120x60x60, 50 kg) are round about 100 Euro one way.

Hello Ori,
I don´t think so. Screw the bolts out and mill it plane. But then you need a gasket in the right thickness. Or you will have more compression.

I don’t think it possible easily to remove the old gasket and the all area not flat.
but i will do take the piston and the screw out and see.

I scratch with sharp knife and it soft aluminum.
I fill up the crank house full of oil because it not turning easily.
It will be a story. No cylinder no head no right motor cover how is the magneto? How is the gear?
At list the carburetor looks good.

I don´t know. It doesn´t look like an aluminium gasket but it could be one. I would say grind it plane.
I hope you won´t to use the crankshaft again, look at the conrod it´s twisted.
