Hallo!
Ich komme aus Russland. Deutsch sprechen hilft mir G gle Translate
Vor ein paar Jahren fand Simson Spatz 1964. in Priosersk nicht weit von St. Petersburg Russland.
Moped auf der Straße liegen in der Scheune, und Gruben in der regen. Der Vorbesitzer fuhr es in der Winter-Angeln auf einem zugefrorenen See Vuoksa bis Verdrahtung Feuer gefangen. Er hatte nur Zeit, um ein Moped im Schnee begraben werfen und decken mit Kleidung! Der Besitzer bot an, ihm Geld als nichts dagegen haben, zu geben.
Als ich brachte ihn zu seiner Garage, sah er so aus:

Komplett zerlegt und fand einige Schäden.



und die Zahl der

Metall wurde restauriert, Sandstrahlen und pulverbeschichtet.
Fehlende Teile gekauft auf ebay.de
Einige Teile wurden für ihre eigenen neuen, einige alte verzinktem.
Neue Sitzbezug genäht Frau. Ein Seitenschutz aus dem gleichen Original kopiert.
Das Ergebnis ist ein sehr schönes Moped, viel besser als jeder von der Sowjetunion im selben Jahr!
Angenehm mit der Qualität der Ersatzteile!

Jetzt bewegt, um in Finnland leben und brachte ein Moped.
Busy Übertragung bei 12 Volt.
Ich bin auf der Suche nach einem Kindersitz für ihn, der mit seinem Sohn gehen würde.
Ich wäre dankbar für Ihr Feedback und Tipps, um den Wiederherstellungsprozess abzuschließen.

This moped was found by me several years ago in a small town Priozersk in 100km to the North from Saint-Petersburg. The owner of it was riding on it during the winter on the ice of the lake Vuoksa for fishing. Due to his story – once on a way to the fishing place the wiring start burning, he throw down it to the snow & closed it with his coat. After that moped was standing outside under the rain at his place for some years. He said to me that I can give any money I can give for it. Finally I bought it for 2000 rub (50 Euro).
As far as I brought it to my garage I started to disassemble it & found some crashes. I repaired crashes with welding. After that sandblasted the frame & other metal parts that I got. Then I made them powder coated in a color as close to original as I could find.
Fortunately I’ve found one guy in my city who is a big fan of Simson «bird» line of mopeds and owner of several models, he helped me with technical literature on it & some parts. Most parts I used to order from e-bay.de. Some old parts were zinc-plated. Some parts were done by me (for example side shields were done by my friend tinsmith & finaly fited by me). The seat cover is sewn by my wife.
Finally very nice moped appeared! I ‘m very glad with the condition & quality of old parts as they are much better than any soviet of the same year.
Now I’ve moved to Finland & took the moped with me.
I ‘m doing 6 to 12v conversion now & looking for a child sit to ride with my son.

I’ll be thankful for any comments & recommendations for finishing the renewal of the moped.

Today I tried to install this kit on my moped

Set the flywheel and checked the spark - it is great!
Now I'm thinking about the best way to place a coil relay and wiring.
Could somebody tell where is it possible to watch any reports on installation of the same equipment? any links? Please!
It’s a bit difficult for me to search here, I’m not well orienting yet.

Indeed, in Russia such mopeds are uncommon but you may find them some times. I was surprised much as I saw it first time! It's possible to find old German motorcycles to, such as BMW R71, Zundap 600 & similar, but very rarely. Many Russians like them very much & dream to own as a legend. I gess now in Germany much more old Russian motorcycles than German in Russia. Enthusiasts enjoy riding Russian urals with sidecars. I’ we done to of this kind:

I know that in russia there are some parts (sometimes very specific parts for example rearfender of very early years of construction of the AWO) of the motorcycle AWO and a few have such a motorcycle
